The festival lasts for several days each spring and features live entertainment, contests, demonstrations and, of course, plenty of the sweet syrup.

For almost five years, wood carvers from across the US (and sometimes abroad) have descended on Somerset County, Pennsylvania for what has become the annual carving fest, a three-day event in which over 50 chainsaw and chip and chisel carvers compete, display and sell their carved items. The festival is open to the public - free admission - and ends with an auction of many of the carvings.

For 30 years, Somerfest has been bringing music, arts and dance to the residents and visitors of Somerset County. The three-day summer festival is held in July and features arts and crafts, children's activities and areas and live Jazz, Bluegrass, County and Rock entertainment. Held at the Dressler Center in Somerset.

This annual Fall festival in Berlin celebrates the rebellion against tax tariffs on whiskey that took place in the area in the 1790s. Today, the two-day September festival features a parade, classic car show, square dancing, musical entertainment and a re-enactment of the rebellion itself. Free admission, held south of Berlin on Route 219.
